It's Patch 129! We're addressing Fox's dominance by adjusting some of his tools and making key Sitti cards less oppressive. We've also improved underperforming cards to diversify the metagame.

The development team has been keeping busy working on some of the amazing new features for all our current and future players coming soon. So for this week it's a smaller patch with only 10 card changes, as we have observed the metagame to be relatively healthy recently.

With all 15 Hero Abilities released, we can begin to more accurately measures how each one stacks up against one another in the current metagame. To this end, we’ve made informed adjustments to some of our underperforming Hero Abilities in an effort to make them viable in the current metagame.

The final Hero abilities are armed and ready to go! We hope you've enjoyed the cadence of releases for these game changing features the past few months.

This week, behold! Hisssss. From my swampy seat, I see two more Hero powers emerge. Banjo dances around as his trickster side takes the stage, while Horik hurls his mighty axes to crush and cure.

We have a larger patch this time, focused on buffing some archetypes and midrange cards that are underperforming in the current metagame, as well as nerfing a few outlying threats that have been overperforming. There's also two new Hero abilities!

Welcome to patch 112 everyone! We’ve got a smaller patch this week, largely focused on standardizing a few card effects, making a few tweaks to some overperformers, and a few revisions to some underperforming cards.

What's your title? Oh you don't have one.. Let's fix that! Starting today players will be able to equip titles on their Skytag to show how dope they are. We also got some adjustments to cards that can create big swings early on, as well as some simplifications and revisions to a few over-tuned ones.

brum-brum-brum-brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Let's rip through these changes coming in hot for Patch 110! This week we added the ability to view deck stats and equip items! As usual, there are card changes too. Don't forget to claim Ripblade Raider for free on the Skypass this season before time runs out!

A few nerfs this week, aimed at addressing some metagame issues and specific outliers. In particular, we’ve been observing the rise of certain Agility decks, especially Wisdom & Agility decks in the current meta. These changes should make some of these decks' key cards more manageable.

With the arrival of the new Skypass launching with Hexbound Invasion, we thought it'd be a good time to publish a post in advance organizing all there is to know about the upcoming changes to the Skyweaver progression system 🥇

For our monthly check-in balance patch we made a few adjustments to some possible dangers to metagame. Specifically, targeting a few decks we’ve noted as being potentially toxic or overpowered in the current meta. Plus, we included a little QOL feature that should have you reaching for the spacebar!

What a year! 2022 marked the 4th year of the Skyweaver journey (also our 5th year as a company!), and we’ve had a lot of big milestones in the past 9 months since our roadmap. We were 39 Horizoneers last January, and right now, the company is 65 people strong.

Mega card changes have emerged from the undergrowth this patch. Our tenacious Mechshroom continues to live on, grow, and defy our understanding of science! There's also a rare mechanical change to a certain Enchant, with the goal of making it more distinct and intuitive.

We went on an epic quest earlier this year and set a bounty on a "giveaway" tool that could benefit the greater Skyweaver community! On this mission, we came across wonderful submissions and after a long time of analyzing, reviewing and deciding which one would be the BEST. Today, we have a winner!

The first skyweaver championship is complete! We tracked down the two players who competed in those insane finals games, Rain and Yexxas, and interviewed them!

This is our first mid-month 'check in' patch! We aim to make no/fewer changes in our mid month check in patches, but will make adjustments to help improve the metagame when there are noticeable issues. We also have the new Ranking system releasing tomorrow (for realsies this time).

The long awaited release of Skyweaver’s first major expansion set, Clash of Inventors, is live! This patch brings a huge shakeup to the metagame, with 50 new cards and a new Trait in the form of Dash! We're also introducing Spectator mode, a new island, and tradable Stickers!

From fun-loving Fun Guys to a well-fed Dracomantium, Stickers are the all-encompassing expression items in Skyweaver. You can use them to communicate during a match, in addition to the standard Hero messages. The first way to acquire these cuties will be through the Invite-A-Friend feature!

This week we have some much needed improvements that should make the everyday Skyweaver a happy Skyweaver, the most notable being specific Private match game type queues. Now only Discovery players will match with other Discovery players!

Hello, Skyweavers! Clash of Inventors goes live on July 7th, but you can learn more about the new cards way before that. Our Community Ambassadors will have exclusive access to a set of upcoming cards and will share them with the world during a series of Reveal Events, starting on June 20th.

Last month we revealed our plans to revise the new player experience through the use of Starter decks; a more approachable onboarding focused around the Constructed game type. Starting this patch players will receive 5 unique decks all within the first 12 levels! We’re also including shiny cards 😮

Today we’re excited to announce a sizable revision to our new player experience, which will be released with our next balance patch. New players will find a more approachable onboarding focused around the Constructed game type and will now unlock a set of five 25 card Starter Decks (one per Prism).

Something's brewing (obviously we had to make that joke). We’ve got a slightly larger pot of balance changes this time, but still small enough to allow the meta to evolve naturally. Everyone loves a bit of spice—and we even threw in a couple new sounds and animations!

2022 marked the beginning of Skyweaver’s Open Beta. After a successful launch, the time has come to share what we’ve been plotting behind the scenes. 🗺️ Hero skins, card backs, stickers, spectator mode, replays, puzzles, guilds, shiny Golds, new Islands, and of course, lots of new cards!

This patch we have a number of smaller adjustments, several of which were focused on improving some aggressive cards in an attempt to encourage the presence of aggressive decks as a counterbalance to some of the greedier midrange & late game decks which have sprung up.

Mini-Expansion #2 releases this patch along with the Gift of Yxxath! How do you pronounce Yxxath? Don't worry about that 😆 This 10 card expansion is centered around the Enchants of Skyweaver, and offers players new ways to employ and activate their distinct effects.

On March 17th, we'll be releasing Skyweaver’s second 'Mini-Expansion' to commemorate our first month of Open Beta!

From Water Sitti, to Fox Burn and some Zam and Titus Etherwail, the metagame has seen a rather diverse collection of decks rise up. With this patch we're aiming to tune down some of the more prevalent tools that the best decks are using, and buff a few underplayed ones. Also, we have Sequence Swap!

Octavian isn’t the only one with 8 options, now the player to go first gets an additional card in their opening card selection, so they have eight rather than seven to choose from. This change should help keep things in tow with the player going second.

Looks like Jackrabbit uncovered a surprise patch! The only problem is, he can’t get the dust off! So, there’s gonna be dust particles every time a unit is summoned. 🤦‍♀️ Who knows how long it’s gonna last? On the plus side, Dusted cards in this patch will now show up dimmed in the grave sidebars!

This week, we’re introducing an all-new tutorial! 👨‍🏫 Now, new players can learn all of SkyWeaver’s fundamental mechanics within the game. Head over to the Training section and choose 1 of 4 different scenarios including: The Basics, Keywords, Spells, and Enchants! Also there's 200 card changes.
