- Fixed bugs causing the Tutorial to break on iOS.
- Fixed an animation bug with Overdrive that caused 1c attachments to take longer to animate.
Welcome to Patch 101 everyone! We have a smaller patch this week, featuring targeted changes for some of the metagame's most powerful cards and decks, as well as bringing a few buffs to some underperformers. We also are excited to announce that starting with this patch, we will be slightly restructuring our balance patching schedule. The new format will be to have one regular balance patch at the start of each month/Season, of which Patch 101 is one, and then a mid month check-in patch, where we will check in on the season's metagame and make balance changes only if they are truly needed for the metagame's health. This should allow Skyweaver seasons and metagames more time to settle and evolve while still leaving ourselves a mid-season window to make changes, in case any unprecedented metagame balance issues occur.

A bit of a two pronged nerf here, the ability for Crystalceratops to be 0 mana on turn 1 was problematic. We considered adding a cap to how low its cost could go, but at the same time we like that it can reach 0c in the mid to late game and give big unit decks a tempo boost, so we've raised its cost by 1 and reduced its stats slightly so that it's less of a threat in the early game.

A nerf/tweak to Bloodletter, moving up the curve from 2 to 3 cost with a +1/+1 buff to compensate. It has fantastic synergy with a fair number of cards, as players have discovered, so we're tuning it down to make it a bit less of an early game threat.

Dash for the Cup is getting a rework as it was far too volatile, costing 1-0 mana, or being too expensive to even play, and punishing your opponent for playing units. We've made it a little more balanced from the early to the late game. It still rewards you for taking damage, but it uses the 16 health threshold mechanic, seen on Drone Surge, to decide if it summons one or two 2 cost units with dash and +1/+1.
Amaruath (2051)

A -1 cost buff for Amaruath, making it easier to play as it was still very weak. Amaruath is actually a quite potent late game threat, but when compared to other late game units, it was a bit underwhelming at 9 mana, so we've buffed it here while not affecting how it interacts with tools that cheat it out like Etherwail or Dracoimpact. We’ll be looking into buffs for the other six dragons in the near future, but didn't want to overload the patch with them this week.
Undragon (1110)

Torques is a fantastic engine for many 1 cost or spell focused decks, but it also could also trade very effectively. We felt that it was a little bit too punishing to trade with, so we've removed 2 of its power to put more focus on it as an enabler, rather than raising its cost, changing its traits or dropping its health. It's worth noting that Torques, while strong, also didn't have the same power level as some of this week's other nerfs.

Overdrive is getting a nerf, now only summoning one Micron Drone. Overdrive is a unique and powerful card introduced in patch 100. It augments the game, giving all your 1 cost units +1/+1, and in practice we found that it was overperforming. It didn't carry the same tempo downside as Glorious Mane or Raze the Banners so we've reduced the amount of board presence it provides.
