Getting close to the big hundo (patch 100). This week we’ve got a number of adjustments targeting some longtime powerhouses and some of the new additions that are currently overperforming in the metagame. We are also introducing Public Spectate mode! So say cheese!

- Improved the loading times in-game and in menus.
- Added a new animation when your Hero faints. They just faint, right?

- Fixed a graphical bug that caused Enchantments to be cut off on Guard units.

A tradeoff to a card that has been incredibly powerful nearly since its inception. Charm's ability to jump 2 mana ahead on curve for such a low cost, would often afford Wisdom the ability to ignore the early game and jump straight to their mid game cards. This breaks the curve, leading to cards like Cloud Sloth and Tortugan Cook coming down turn 2 and wreaking havoc. To this end, we have granted Rosewater charm Banner, but also reduced its mana gain from two mana to one, giving it some tempo value in exchange for cutting its usefulness as a curve-breaking ramp tool.

Nerfing another popular ramp tool for Wisdom. One of our current concerns with Wisdom is the ease at which it is able to survive and escape the early game though some of its early game ramp tools, so we are adjusting the power and safety of two of its most prominent cards, Rosewater Charm and Take Root, to reduce the ease with which Wisdom can ignore the early game and move straight to the mid and late game. Without the added healing, Take Root should be more of a sacrifice in the early game.

Turn the Tide is an extremely powerful card that didn’t really see that much play until recently, we always knew it was strong, but combined with a proactive strategy it was generating too much value. It’s been nerfed to only refund 3 mana instead of the original 5 meaning it costs 2 at minimum without external factors.

Nerf to a sizable Wisdom threat - cooks ability to snowball was a bit greater than we'd like, so we've reduced both its own health and the amount of health it passes to units by 1, which should help make it more reasonable when rushed in early, while still maintaining a good overall power level.

A seemingly minor adjustment that should have a larger impact than it would initially seem. Mechshroom losing 1 health is a notable nerf as Mechshroom will return numerous times throughout the game, and having 1 health less each time it does should make it significantly easier to play around, as well as ensuring its initial appearance can be easily answered by as little as a hero attack, making it a greater tempo loss initially.
