This week brings a change to Discovery mode as well as some awesome new cards like Sun Son, Scrollweaver, Libra, and Grifter!

Improvements

  • Attack ⚔️ & Health on units and heroes has now been reworded to Power 💪 & Health.
  • All Discovery decks, both single and dual prism, are now comprised of 25 cards. This change was made to decrease the amount of times players run out of cards in Discovery mode, and give a boost to single-prism Discovery decks, which have historically been weaker.

Fixes

  • Strike Shield 🛡️ now doesn't trigger from 0 damage attacks. It will still apply before armor however.

"Doing some cleanup in the wake of last week's Sigil (now Rune) patch, especially on enchants. Not all changes shown, such as template or name only changes. The "attack" stat is now the "power" stat, to differentiate from the attack action."

Note that some of these are just attached cards.

Glitter - Glory: Give the enemy hero Dazed.

Sun Son - Play: Do 1 Damage to target enemy unit. Give it Blind.

Forcefield - Give allies Strike Shield.

Chain Golem - Death: Give enemy units Chains.

Blademaster - Costs less equal to your hero's power.

Rhumbo - Death: Summon a 3c unit.

Stranglehold - Give the enemy hero Roots. The enemy loses 1 max mana.

Redwood - Glory: Gain 1 max mana.

Cobalt - Summon: Draw a metal spell onto this unit.

Frigid Blizzard - If you have no mana, give enemy units Frozen. Do 2 Damage to each unit.

Grifter - Glory: Mulligan the enemy hand.

Book Casey - Summon: Summon two Kook Book.

Death Ball - Do 3 Damage to target unit. If lethal, give the enemy hero Hex.

Oceantium - Return your dead water cards to deck. Draw eight water cards.

Ponderous - Spells on allies have -1c.

Doubling Cube - Draw two mind cards. Give each +1c.

Plethora - Sunset: Spend two mana to draw.

Gus - Summon: Summon Songbird.

Vialet - Death: Give your hero Mana Potion and +2 Health.

Cross Reference - Draw two 1c spells.

Octavian - Your water cards have -1c.

Swamp Walker - Inspire Wither: Do 1 Damage to a random enemy.

Mootichi - Inspire Spell: Draw a unit into play of that spell's cost or less.

Luna - Summon: Draw a spell from the enemy prisms onto this unit.

Frost Adept - Sunset: If you have no mana, give the enemy hero Frozen.

Tooth Hurty - Inspire Any: Gets +1 Power, then randomized stats. (Minimum 1.)

Glacier Hulk - Death: Dust this unit to give your hero Glacial Tomb.

Ground Slam - Give target unit Roots. Do damage equal to its health to each other unit.

Headcase - Summon: Dust your top most expensive dead spell to gain power equal to its cost.

Maelstrom - Do 5 Damage to units. Return any killed to deck.

Chrome Cast - Pay all your mana to draw a unit with that cost or less into play. Give it Lead.

Libra - Summon: Give your hero +7 Health.

Stir the Kraken - Draw a water unit. Do 2 Damage and give Dazed to a random enemy, four times.

Gear Grind - Mulligan your hand. Draw a unit. Give units in your hand -1c.

Encapsulate - Dust target unit. Draw a spell onto your hero of its element.

Brainbug - Draw three from the enemy prisms.

Volcanic Potion - Do 2 Damage to each unit. Both players lose 1 max mana.

Overclock - Discard your hand. Draw that many. Give your hand -1c.

Levitate - Put target 3c or less unit in your hand.

Ill Will - Give target enemy Hex. Give cards in the enemy hand and deck +1c.

Flames (527)

Flames - Sunrise: Do 2 Damage to this character.

    Keywords: wither None

Flames has been nerfed, and cards that use it have been tweaked. This removes a large chunk of wither from the set, which should nerf control.


Vapors (1098)

Vapors - When this enchant is dusted, give your hero +2 Health and draw.

Nerfed the heal a tad. Also nerfed along with Inner Beast to only trigger in play. It was fun while it lasted, but all these draws and buffs triggering in hidden zones is spooky.


Lead (988)

Buffed to prevent the character from being dusted, to expand the novelty of the counterplay. Still only works in play.
