It seems we’ve reached patch 113 ~Oooh~! What an unlucky patch number! Luckily for everyone, we’ve got a number of changes directed at creating a healthier—fresher—metagame. So let's see what we've got!
Bugfixes 🐛
- Cleanup of small bugs around the game: Tooltips appearing behind cards in the deckbuilder, icon alignment, and more.
- Fixed a bug where unreleased cards could be given as leaderboard rewards and Conquest Treasure rewards.
- Fixed copy to clipboard not working on iOS.
- Made the "invited friends" Skytags clickable.
- Fixed a weird scroll issue when navigating to a specific reward on the Skypass.
- Fixed an overflow issue in the Season select dropdown.
- Fixed a misalignment in the Deck bar when a menu-banner was active.
It seems we’ve reached patch 113 ~Oooh~! What an unlucky patch number! Luckily for everyone, we’ve got a number of changes, focusing largely on reducing the impact of some cards that cheat mana curves and some that do direct damage, with the goal of opening the field to more strategies.

While a more minor change for fire-focused decks using Ifrit, this change is part of a Larger initiative. For the time being, we’re removing the majority of ‘discard’ effects from the game and ethier reworking them or having them dust instead. Discard is a very interesting tool for Heart reanimator strategies, but also a very very powerful one if not regulated carefully. We’re planning to add more discard cards in the future, but we’re planning to limit what they can discard to keep that Heart decks reanimation game plan ‘on-curve’ so to speak. This ensures it isn’t centered solely around dumping and reanimating 10 cost units. Curtailing discard effects should also let us buff Heart reanimation tools, as currently they’re kept somewhat limited due to their ability to reanimate huge creatures early game.
Sunder (91)

Nerfing and simplifying a pretty overpowered and multifaceted tool. A change we do not make lightly, Intellect had several cards that repeatedly caused issues by allowing players to deploy units with powerful effects (often quite randomly) far earlier than was healthy, so we’ve changed Boot to draw the unit and add a copy to hand instead. We regret that we’re losing some cool plays with this card but considering the fact that these kinds of effects constantly force every new unit with a powerful death or summon effect under a microscope due to their ability to cheat those big effects out, this is a necessary change. The new Dual boot should be a more versatile and fairer option, that keeps in-line with Intellect’s copying-focused gameplan.
