Hello SkyWeavers!

As 2019 comes to a close, we want to express how grateful we are for the support you’ve shown us and the excitement you’ve shared for SkyWeaver. At such an early stage in our journey, the SkyWeaver community has already become the best community that any one of us has ever known. For that, we thank you :)

Since releasing our invitation-only private beta in June, we’ve learned so much through player feedback and have made a ton of progress. We’ve released SkyWeaver’s private beta for Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPad, and Android; we’ve made game engine improvements; and, we’ve released weekly patch updates, hundreds of new cards, a revolutionary marketplace for player-to-player card trading, and much more. The gameplay feedback we’ve received from both casual and professional card game players has been incredibly positive, so we know that we’re on to something special here.

We now have a mailing list of more than 50,000 people, largely thanks to our amazing community members around the world who are spreading the word and inviting friends! And, we must also say thank you to the many wonderful Twitch streamers playing SkyWeaver for their audiences. In fact, the mailing list grows so fast that it’s tough for us to keep up with the invites! The not-so-good news: due to all of the interest in SkyWeaver, if you’re on the waitlist, you might have to wait a little longer than you first thought. The great news: we’re working fast and effectively to invite more players into the game, so don’t worry, you’ll get to play SkyWeaver as soon as it’s ready for you :)

Our team is hard at work to make the player experience even better. We’re improving the onboarding process and making it easier and more fun to learn the game. We’re committed to the SkyWeaver experience being amazing from the moment that anyone gets access to the game—whether that player is a card game veteran or a newcomer to the genre. Our goal is to make the game welcoming to everyone, and since the beginning, we've seen a ton of interest from people, gamers and non-gamers alike, that enjoy SkyWeaver because of our character art and design. SkyWeaver seems to have mass appeal and we want to ensure that the experience is great for anyone coming into Sky for the first time. It will take us a bit of time to get there, but we’re not far off, and early player feedback helps a ton. We’ll also reveal an exciting economy design in the future, so stay tuned for that!

For those who already have private beta access, please keep playing, testing and sharing feedback—both good and bad. Your contributions mean so much to us and really help to enhance game features, balancing, and overall player experience—for both you and future SkyWeavers.
